Perspective
Things here are much the same: the laundry, the work, the hanging out with people.
And yet big changes are happening as I type, and more change is certain in the days to come.
Moving from place to place tends to work that way.
With only three weeks left until the moving van comes, all moments become reflective ones, as I anticipate doing things "one last time". It's in these last weeks that I always consider time with people more precious, because I know that "time" will soon not be a luxury to enjoy as I choose.
In many ways I think that this prospective is a good one for me to have. I should always live as if time is of the essence. But on the flip side, living that way is exhausting. It's a lot like love in it's first days: exciting and good, but very tiring!
Early morning walks with friends, working out at the gym, watching beautiful Arizona sunsets...these are things I am looking at with a new set of eyes.

I love that picture!
There are times when I let time slip away living in the day to day things and forget to notice the bigger picture.. You are right though, each moment is truly amazing if you think it will be the last time you get a chance to do it. Thanks for the reminder :-)
I am a new reader to your blog and I absolutley enjoyed reading it. Can't wait to come back and see what great changes God has instore for you and your family.
I hate moving. I am so impressed with the ease with which you seem to embrace it.
Beautiful....I will be praying for you in this transition and that it will continue to be a time of reflection and perspective for you!! I want an update on The Mister...is home yet???
I'm going to miss you!
Enjoy this time -- I'm praying for a smooth transition! :)
Bless you Kellie! I hope you just soak up the next 3 weeks and really cherish your time with all of the things that Arizona offers you. I will be praying for you and your family as you get ready for your move! Beautiful photo by the way!
Yes. When you know you are doing something for the very last time it does make it more meaningful. It's so easy to take things for granted when you know you can repeat them.
Enjoy your last days there.
Thank you for reminding me how people, places living in the moment is so precious. I will never understand why it is in my nature to want to push forward and think of tomorrow. Great reminder! I hope you make the most of you time left with your friends.
Awesome picture! I totally get what you are saying - wanting to live that way every moment, yet realizing that you'd be really tired if you did!
