One More Day...

Typically Mondays aren't my favorite, but today I'm happy to have one.

I get to spend this entire day with The Mister.

The best part?

For at least six hours we get to spend this day alone.

Well, if you don't count the other people at the mall.

After 16 years of knowing this man, I still really like him.

He's speaking my love language this morning....he said he'd buy me a latte. So I'm not gonna take too much time here on the blog.

So....talk to me....

Tell me one favorite memory that happened on your Thanksgiving....or tell me if you braved Black Friday....or if you are hoping that today, when you hit the mall, everybody will be at home on the laptops for Cyber Monday...

Happy Day!

I braved Black Friday, and finished the little bit of shopping we're doing this year. Now I can relax in December.

Have fun with your man today!

Have a fabo day with The Mister!

I braved Black Friday but scored huge on legos. Those suckers are P.R.I.C.E.Y. but we were able to score some free ones!! That makes this lego mama SO happy.

Normally, I know you'd want me to say, "don't have fun w/o me", but a date day with the Mister is delish, so he's all yours. :P

We didn't brave the crowds. After a lowkey Thanksgiving, I got up early and cleaned the house (why do it before the big meal?;)) and got ready for decorating. On Friday night, we put up our tree. It was our first artificial tree, but I think it looks pretty. Looking forward to all my December quiet times in front of the tree. I don't really have a favorite memory b/c it was all soothing--unless you count this: I said we were eating at 2 p.m., and we sat down WITH ALL DISHES COOKED at 2:04. Personal best.

My favorite memory from this weekend...my hubby and son put together our new grill (that they stood in line at 3:30am at Sears to purchase.)

Next favorite memory...with the exception of two DVDs, I am DONE with my Christmas shopping.

Hope you had a marvelous day!

I picked out and decorated my pregnant sister's tree since baby does not like to do anything but eat and sleep :) And it fell over. Twice. The last time I saw it was propped up against the wall with ornaments scattered about. I didn't want to fix it again! And there's a very good chance that it will still be like that when we arrive for Christmas!

sounds like a wonderful day to me!!!

My bestie and I always brave Black Friday and this year was the "worst" but fun and crazy just the same...

My best Thanksgiving memory for this year was seeing snow fall late in the afternoon... what made it most memorable was that my 2 granddaughters had fervently prayed for snow the night before & watched expectantly all day for it. Just 30 minutes worth of it was enough to remind them that God really answers prayers!
Glad you got this special day with your DH!
On Black Friday we stayed in & played games while the wind howled outside.

Your Mister is my hero. :o)

I think my favorite thing about the entire week was getting to spend a lot of time as a whole, entire family. With two teenagers that just doesn't happen so much so when it does it makes me happy to my toes! Especially when it's accompanied by a lot of laughing!

Shopping? What? It isn't December 23 yet! That's what MY Mister does - can you say "picked over" gift?

So glad you got to have a date day! How fun!
My favorite memory from this year: the squeals from my kids as it snowed on Thanksgiving afternoon

A day together...one on one...sounds lovely!

I didn't black Friday it. Just a little....from my couch(online). Thanksgiving seemed to fly by. The only really memorable things were the random comments from my MIL...that's always interesting. ;)
