Which is fun because did you realize today is 11/10/09?
Speaking of random....I present
Ten (more) Extraordinarily Random Things:
10. At night I have been weirded out while I am down stairs alone because a strange sound happens, and it sounds like it could be in the garage. Turns out, it just the ice maker.
9. I am reading so many different things right now that make me think-y. Which is a good thing-y.
8. I am going to host a carnival at the end of this week that I really want you to join. It's inspired by the writing prompts of Kellie's Second Grade Stories. The topic?
More details to follow, but if you want to play I'm thinking Friday the 13th is the day!
7. There are still tomatoes growing in my garden, even though we have already had a couple nights of freezing weather.
6. I'm contemplating a Twitter hiatus. I don't like thinking thoughts in 140 characters or less. It's hindering my think-yness.
5. I made dinner last night and surprised my family with a candle lit and decorated table. They all wanted to know if someone special was coming over.
4. That made me little sad. But sadness quickly faded by the look on The Girls face when I said, "Yes. The three of you!"
3. The dog is laying on the floor beside me and her stomach is gurgling so very loud.
2. I hope to learn applique this week on Clinton the Embroidery Machine.
1. My favorite quote I've read this week is this:
The epitome of sophistication is utter simplicity.
- Maya Angelou

Do share your success with applique because I've yet to master it.
And don't forget to link your blog with Meredith's! I don't see it listed!
I don't really like the idea of you taking a Twitter hiatus. Just sayin'.
Ooohh...and I want to play at your carnival!!!
Props to Maya for the fabulous quote and props to you for a candlelit dinner. What a fun idea.
As long as I have other forms of communication at my disposal, I'll think about letting you take a break from Twitter. Because I would miss you. J/k. I totally understand it. After all, hvnt u sn tht i'm the eptme of abbrviatns bc i cnt cmmunicte in 140 chrctrs or < ? ;)
Would lurve to attend your carnival. Here's my RSVP.
Lovely that you had a candlelit dinner waiting for your family.
Hope that ice maker doesn't get ya. At one point I used to go to sleep with the TV on when Big was traveling.
I will definitely join your carnival. Does that make the co-dependent in you breathe easier? (Oh, how I love to tease, Kellie!)
No Twitter? Oh dear. Say it isn't so.
I'm in a crafy mood lately. I need some of your motivation and inspiration.
I also want to copy your table-setting-surprise soon!
Oh I just think it is so sweet of you to surprise your family with a candlelight dinner. I definitely need to do that!!! Can't wait to see what your carnival is all about!
I'm curious to hear the carnival detz too! AND...my family says the same thing (about company coming) when I clean house. What does that say about me?
I love the candle light dinner for your family. I am stealing that idea for tonight. Candles and chili dogs go great together!
I love random thoughts. It's amazing how I can multi-task my thoughts, but not my hands.
From someone who has been on an extended twitter hiatus....it does free up a lot of time and I no longer dream in limited words. Now I just dream in blog...working on that ;)
Twitter will be LVDG-less?! I don't think I like that.
Your carnival sounds fun!
love the random.. the carnival sounds like it will be fun :-)
Such a sweet Mama you are!!
I'll definitely play in a carnival!
I actually don't even Tweet that much anymore and I enjoying just doing it when the mood strikes...like my Facebook status (although I enjoy Twitter much more than FB)
LOVE your quote. I'm all about simple.
And I was watching an informecial about a cricut today and wanted to do applique...you know, because I'm looking for a new hobby.
And thank you for your email and your thinky-ness. You are water and chocolate in a dry desert.
Random thoughts are the absolute best kind, esp. when they're thinky like yours. I don't do twitter, but I bet it's fun and inspirational in it's own way. Or maybe it really is meant to be shallow thoughts in 140 characters or less. Either way, I bet you make it sophisticated. LOVE that quote.
I want to join in on Friday. Remind me Thursday!
I think you are doing rather well with 140 character thoughts. Most of your bullet points would be great tweets!
