My day is completely crazy today, what with the memorial service and all....

I'm a wife, mom and blogger;
Coffee drinker, baker, and jogger.
I don't swim in the sea.
Or make potpourri
I like pizza with a good lager.
I'm a c-sections survivor.
The mother, the gardner, the driver;
A maid, and a groomer,
(Have I said coffee consumer?)
I'm not the best, but I try-ver.
I'm the homeschool professor.
And, my desk is a mess-er.
A guitar player who cooks.
A reader of books,
I'm early to rise I confess-er.
From laundry is my constant flee.
My van is chock full of debris.
I mow the lawn,
Walk our dogs in the dawn-
Only after two-cups of coffee.
Like you, I do many things.
But its Christ who gives me the wings,
To press on when life's hard,
Knowing He will stand guard.
His love is what makes my heart sing.
Among titles, no more am I "slave":
For Christ overcame that dark grave,
In Him I am free,
To be who He's called me to be.

I didn't watch a second of that craziness either. It's disgusting, isn't it? I'll take the nonstop Hannah Montana reruns that are constantly playing here ANY day!
Okay, I haven't commented in FOREVER, and was just catching up on some blog reading - including yours, obviously - and realized how much I have MISSED YOU! Agh! So, just a note to say hello (hello!), congrats on the four years, and I'm back!!
Oh that MJ....tragic that he took up so much precious tv time. I didn't participate in the shananigans either....used the time to do laundry. I felt mighty productive.

Oh...and Happy Blogiversary or Blogirthday or whatever we're calling it!
