CountDown to 1000: Marital Changes

I'm counting down to my 1000 posts by pulling things out of the draft folder...

This post was written on 2/12/08.

As a means of informing you on the details of this big change in our marriage I must make a confession:

I am a middle of the tube squeezer. The Mister is a bottom-to-top squeezer.

The rest is self explanatory.

After almost 13 years of marriage, and much talk and consideration, The Mister and I have decided to make a change.

We have decided that we can no longer share.....one tube of toothpaste.

NEITHER CAN WE!!!!!

But for different reasons. In the mornings, I brush in the shower and he brushes at the sink. If he goes first and moves the toothpaste from the shower to the sink without returning, I have to get out of the shower, get the tube and then get back in the shower. Sooooo....we each have our own tubes now.

LOL!! I love it. The brevity MAKES this post. Too funny.

By the way, I'm still waiting for a recipe. ;) You know the one.

I'm a middle, he's a bottom-to-top...we still share because I simply love to annoy him. :D

You know those things that fit on the end of the tube and roll the tube up as you use it??

Do you know that they're called?

Marriage savers.

FUNNY. We do share, but it's not pretty.

Oh yes - we were that way, but I've brought him over to the dark side. We're both middles now.

No need to squeeze from the bottom until you're running out and have forgotten to pick up a replacement every day this week. (Have I just overshared?) Good plan to have different tubes! Works well for us.
