Always

taidyoriginal
Today I rejoice that my family is once again together under one roof.

Would love to hear what you are rejoicing...

Maybe its easy for you to think of a something...

Maybe... today is a day when rejoicing will be an act of your will choosing to hope, choosing to see, choosing to give thanks in a place not comfortable...

Today my rejoicing is easy, but I've been there... when rejoicing felt like a sacrifice of my heart; when choosing to be grateful for things unseen, unknown, felt like carrying a boulder up a hill.

There is joy in gratitude...

So tell me. What are you thankful for today?

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Hey Kellie!
What a wonderful blog this time around (in addition to all of the others!)...I'm thankful for answered prayer when I thought things were impossible. It's the little (or big!) 'God things' that totally amaze me and knock my socks off! And I am learning that when I am in total surrender to God and choosing to stand on 'higher ground', then I can step aside and watch what happens.
I am always humbled and amazed to see God at work!

I am thankful that when the ladder fell off the house that:
1) my hubby was not on it
2) no windows broke

I am also thankful that he is now done and the really big scary ladder can go back into the garage.

I'm rejoicing in southern potluck church dinners. (especially the coconut cream cake!). I'm rejoicing in sweet family members with the cutest 2 year old little girl. And..I'm rejoicing in my youngest losing her second front tooth..it's just fun to see her 'missing teeth' smile!

The funny thing is that I can't think of a reason NOT to rejoice. I am rejoicing in my kids, my amazing husband, the fresh flowers on my dining room table, the sunshine outside, the sweet sound of laughter and cicadas and the hope of fresh tomatoes from my garden. Life is good because God is great.

It was great to see you in July! I'm always happy for a chance to praise God for his goodness and rejoice in his provision. Right now, with our big move only 6 weeks away, I am rejoicing in seeing God's hand going before us and working out all the details - both big and small. What a blessing to praise God when things fall into place instead of thinking we are "lucky" or "at the right place at the right time"! He is in control of all, and it is a comfort to trust in his guiding hand!
