Its Down
The dead tree is officially down. Here is the Before...a 62 foot hard wood tree. (in case it isn't obvious its the dead one in the center of photo)
And After: And now the hard work: Chopping it up and hauling it off.
And this last one just for good measure and because he's so darn handsome when he's doing things that make him happy.

SO jealous of all the trees in your yard. We have TWO. TWO trees. How pathetic is that?
Wow! That was quite the job! I love catching my husband being sweet and sensitive but I also love his manly man side. Yay for your lumberjack man!
I bet that left you with a some more sun! However, I do suppose it didn't produce off a lot to begin with since it was dead! We live in a wooded area also, storm season is a drag!
YAY for The Mister. He did it and ALL is well!!!
Tim the Tool Man Taylor is alive and kicking. OOH-OOH-OOH! And now you don't have to wait for it to come down in a tornado on top of the house.
Manly man with the man toy! Good for him, and yay, here's to not worrying that it's going to come down on the house.
Hope you are enjoying our SUNSHINE!!!
Yeah, that tree needed to come down. What a manly man you have married. Testosterone is fairly seeping through my computer screen. :)
oo glad The Mister got the tree down safely!
Oh, it's soo sexy when I get to see my man doing something well, "manly"...like building something or I've actually watched him on his job site before...I always think "he's so smart!"...
I know you're glad it is D-O-N-E!!
firewood for next winter! So glad no one or thing was hurt in the process. I absolutely love your "yard" - more like a park!
And no injuries to report! Wonderful!
Wow. That was no small feat. Bravo to the Mister. (And to you for holding your breath--and tongue--while he worked away!).
