I'm wondering....
When you see a cryptically vague social media tweet, txt, blog, status or message, do you:
A. Assume the message is about you.
B. Assume it's not about you.
C. Assume it not you, but think of five people it might be.
D. Roll your eyes and assume that people with cryptic messages are using their PPA (Powers of Passive Aggressiveness)
E. None of the above ( alternately: put your answer here)
Mostly I'm in the B category, although occasionally I find myself in the D...
Tell me where you fit?

I'm in the category that read this post and quickly ran a mental review of all the tweets I've posted lately to be sure that I didn't send any cryptically vague messages that may have offended you.
how's THAT for neurotic?
I go with D...and B.
Okay, I am totally in the same camp with His Girl.
Although, I guess wondering who may have inspired this cryptic blog post is the same as wondering who the cryptic tweet might be about. So that probably puts me in the A and C groups, definitely more heavily on the C side.
@hisgirl - you made me laugh! This really is just an inquiry. If I'm upset with anyone, they know it. I don't tend to mince words, although I would never lay out issues through social media...I don't want everyone up in my biz! (Because nine time out of ten, when I'm "at odds" with someone, it's probably MY issue, not theirs) ;)
I sometimes assume it's about me even though I know it's probably not. I can't stand how passive-aggressive people can be, esp on Facebook. Drives me crazy! I try to ignore it and let it be their problem. Hard to do though!
Totally assume it's not me and then immediately think D.
Love, chels (but it will say anonymous 'cause I don't have a google ID or patience today to make one) ;-)
I start with B but get to D real quick. I'm thinking more folks should keep the dirty laundry to themselves..or pick up the phone and call the offending party to work out the differences. Life's too short.
Just sayin'.
Totally D. But I enjoy it anyway.
Totally techi-unequipped to even answer this question...I don't tweet, text, status, and am usually too in a hurry to even read the blog titles....
:)
I'm with Amber. I usually don't assume they're about me but it bugs me when I post stuff (yeah, I'm guilty of doing this) and people assume it's about them. I'm not one to post it if I think the person it's about would actually READ it. That's just mean.
I wonder why they feel the need to share their aggravation so publicly and if it happens frequently on fb, I'll block their posts!
Hilarious.
I'm a B and C kinda girl.
