Wish Granted

Well, I got my wish, we have more snow outside than I have EVER seen at one time!

I'm celebrating Day Three of the Great Big Snow Storm of 2010 by putting make-up on and cleaning up a bit.

Seriously, 36 hours of lounging in PJ's and not wearing my contact lenses is about all I can take.

I'm not complaining, not really.

I'm happy that The Mister is at home today because our drive-way and street is still COMPLETELY covered in snow and ice. And I LOVE that because we homeschool, I have something for the kids to do today.

I do enjoy routine, and I like to have order.

And after two days of throwing caution to the wind and enjoying our snow days, I like "normal" too.

I did use our snowed in days to go out and take a few pictures....

We got nearly 8 inches in our 'hood....
Even the deer played reindeer games.

I had an ENORMOUS amount of fun sewing up a few little things:

I do need the snow to hurry up and melt though. Wednesday is The Girls birthday and I had planned to shop for her on Saturday...can we spell....i-n  t-r-o-u-b-l-e if the roads don't clear up so I can do some shopping???

Happy Monday!

You even have warm weather clothing like someone who has winter! Well done! And good luck with the b'day shopping. However, if you're in a pinch, I know Clinton would help in a heartbeat.

Your hair looks cute in a headband. I showered today and got out of the pj's for the first time since Friday night. And I'm on my third load of laundry.

Did you hear we might get more this weekend?

Eek!

I'm a little ashamed to admit that I put on makeup before we played in the snow. Hasn't it been fun? I have trouble getting going again after my world stops for a few days to let me catch my breath. So cool that you had your camera ready for the deer!!!

What cute pictures! Isn't this snow/ice amazing?! I went outside for the first time today (other than walking next door the past 2 evenings for dinner), & we walked around the lake. Cars are still in the garage...

I'm so with you on showering and putting on make up. After not doing so in 4 days, I forced myself to 'get ready' today. What? I don't know, but I looked as if I was 'ready' (my 4 yr old's words:)

I love the pic with the deer. And, the pic of you and your family. Cute, cute hair!

I'm jealous of all that white stuff!

Looks like fun, and it's awesome that you have no snow days!!

Now... get shopping!

Wasn't the snow wonderful?! You got more than we did, and now ours is all melted, but it was great for a couple of days. You and the kids are so cute in the snow. And those deer are amazing!

Oh, if we had that much snow I would just die a jillion deaths. Not even sure we have a shovel (maybe a gardening trowel) and I know for certain I don't have your OH MY GOODNESS SO ADORABLE headband.

thanks for letting me live vicariously through you :)

It's beautiful!!! I love the picture of the deer!

You were pretty productive during your snow day. I was...not productive. :)

The snow is gorgeous!! It is so nice when winter acts like winter...except when it keeps you stuck at home. Hope you made it to the store.

Looks like fun! And the little doo-dads you made (don't know what they're really called, obviously) are so cute! They look so professional!!
