Glatitudes

10. Feeling SUPER glad that we finished school on Friday. Whew! Just when I was getting into my groove, its over! Which brings me to...

9. Glad that all curriculum choices for next year have been figured out and purchased, to be delivered by the end of this week.
8. Glad for the new journal I just bought yesterday (Scanned copy of front above). I only have five pages in my last journal and I am going to write REAL BIG so that I can just hurry up and be done with it already.

7. Glad that summer is around the corner, as was evidenced by the sparkles of fireflies in the dusk of evening. If your from these parts, I'm talking about lightening bugs.

6. Glad school is over. Oh wait....I already said that. Glad that its that time of year when I can buy Popsicles by the cart-load. Hot chocolate is officially off the menu.

5. Glad that the kids and I finally got our garden started yesterday.

4. Glad that we have awesome neighbors, who bring over plants and presents for the kids with honest-to-goodness no string attached. They just do it cause they want to...

3. Glad for Smashbox Primer: AKA - Mama's Little Helper...

2. Glad for good news. The Mister received good news regarding his profession this week. Which leads me to my last and final Glatitude of the week....

1. I am glad for dental insurance (that we get through The Misters good job), because in 3-4 weeks I will be having a root canal, post, and crown on a tooth that has already HAD a root canal, post and crown. I pulled out the entire post and crown this week chewing on a piece of gum.  We'll still be paying out a small fortune, but it could be much, much worse!

Thanks to Gretchen for starting the Glatitude love!

Nothing like a fresh new journal! And yours is so hip-spankin' cute.
I'd skip the writing big, rip out the last pages of your old one, and start in the new one TODAY.

Hallelujah for good job news and dental insurance!
Booalujah for root canals. Maybe you can get all the good drugs that CPQ did!! ;)

I still can't figure out when we finish school...it's the curriculum that never ends. And you've made your choices for next year? Nice.

If you need me to pimp out my dentist's phone number, I'll be glad to. It was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY to not feel a thing.

And did you say Popsicles? I'll be right over.

Oh, how I love a fresh new journal and that one's a beauty!

I'm actually hoping to stop by Sephora this week to pick up some of that very primer.

Oh, lightning bugs!! I love them! I think it's too cool here for them yet. I'm not sure if they even come up here. I hope they do.

I feel like i should wallpaper something in that sweet print of yours! But I might then feel a little agitated. Still, on a journal, very fun, indeed.

Glad for all your mcsunny weather and popsicles and such.

Gnashing my old, worn, and battered teeth on your behalf. I'm sure a dental post, both post and p.o.s.t. is not far into my future.

But for now, I'm chomping on my gum.

We don't have dental insurance...and I'm trying not to think about the cavity that I think I have. ;)

I love new journals! Yours is lovely.

And I love fireflies too!

SO ready for summer here too!

I heart fresh new journals. I love the smell of the crisp, clean pages. Rip out those few remaining pages and get started pronto with the new one!

So sorry about the dental issues. I am pretending that my old, cracked fillings DO NOT really hurt when I eat cold stuff.

Oh my stars~you are doing so well. I don't think about next years books until August! Good for you. My husband is a Public School Administrator and we really all need a break.
We still have a couple more weeks of school left!
I am so ready for summer too!
You have a great week!

I'm so glad for dental insurance too! There was a time we didn't have it...

This is our last week of school, then a few fun "last" activities the week after...

Going to a conference June 12th for curriculum..hope I get it all then!

I LOVE the pattern on the journal! I also use the smashbox primer, but I use the green because I feel like I have a lot of red in my skin. Glad you like it! LOL at the mama's little helper!

#9 - What did you pick???

I've been sick - too sick to do much but the necessary stuff each day, so I spent all weekend on the couch picking curriculum. I haven't ordered yet though; don't know what I'm waiting for!

Seeing that gorgeous cover on your new journal suddenly made me want to rush out and buy one myself. :) As much as I love to write, I haven't slowed down enough to keep up with one recently. I think I need to change that.

Fireflies - I am so sad that we don't have them around here. Did you have them in AZ? But I'm going home to IN in a few weeks, and I plan to sit outside on the deck and just watch them one evening. :)
