Glatitude

They say imitation is the best form of flattery. Gretchen should be flattered.

Gretchen started this whole Glatitude Monday shtuff, and since Mer, Tiff and Carpoolqueen have joined, I will too.

In this case, I'm glad for peer pressure. (Although there was none. So as you can see I am easily influenced.)

Here are a few others things I am grateful for:

*Glad that my 18 oz. coffee cup is full. The coffee tastes amazing this morning.

*Glad that the weather is already beautiful. It's not even 7 a.m., and I am have windows open.

*Glad for friends. New and Old.

*Glad that Them Mister has this entire week off of work.

*Glad that he spent the entire weekend helping me transform my kitchen into what I have envisioned for a long time.

(Its a book that I have had trouble putting down and couldn't sleep last night thinking about it....so good!)

*Glad that I am living in the most beautiful state in the nation. North Carolina is everything I romantically dreamed about since I was a little girl. Can't believe I live here. (Bugs, snakes, and such...but I won't write about them since I'm having glatitude and all.)

*Glad that winter is over.

*Glad that this post is done!

Happy Monday!

PS:
*Glad to give you a sneak peek at what we did this weekend. We are half-way finished! Yay!

I'm always glad for book recommendations and beautiful spring mornings and new & old friends (hey, you're one of those!) and loving where you live.

Yay, YOU, on the cabinets. I can't wait to see the finished project. I think it's going to be beautiful. It really brightens up that space, doesn't it?

A lovely list of thankfulness.

Never been to North Carolina - what would you recommend a first time visitor do/see/eat?

Love the kitchen project - and just like mine (!) can't wait to see it finished.

OH my word!! What a difference it is already making. I know you are glad glad glad to see some progress.

And I, too, wanted to live in NC since I was in high school and we made a visit to Asheville for a conference. I knew then that I would want to live here some day. It took me another 15 years to make it happen, but it was worth it.

I always love reading these gladitude lists. A grateful heart is a wonderful thing to have. I think I've told Jon a bazillon times, "thanks for buying my dream house." I can certainly echo some of the things you are grateful for. I love the progress of your kitchen. Can't wait to see the finale of the great kitchen redo!

It (the kitchen, in case you didn't know to what "it" referred in my over excitement) looks brighter already! Woo Hoo!

Judges ruling on NC vs WA? I think it's a tie. We are much cooler most of the time, but our summers are spectaculackular. And at least in W Washington--no poisonous snakes. But your iris are blooming.

BTW, this gladitude lurve warms my heart.

Enjoy having the Mister home, and don't crack the whip tooooo hard. A little hard is okay though.

it's looking amazing!!

girl, we'll have to def. have a judges ruling since I pretty partial to the great state of Georgia!! I just love the south. period.

It's nice to have a little glad, isn't it?!!

We just did the kitchen thing too but it looks like you are toing to a LOT more work than we did. It is so worth it though to have the room you spend so much time in look 'pretty'. I'm so glad we did it.

No! Not another book I need to buy and read!! :) I've not read anything by Susan Meissner, but I've heard great things about that book. Have you read anything else by her?

Such wonderful things to be thankful for! The cabinets are looking amazing! One complaint about this post.. I though Virginia was the most beautiful state ever! ;-)

Well, I can't argue that Southern Arizona is the prettiest place, as we have poisonous snakes and spiders, and hardly anything green to make up for it, but I will say that your kitchen looks beautiful and what a difference the paint makes!! It is amazing--good job to you and my bro! (Maybe the Lord will bring us to that beautiful state one of these days! At least for a visit someday!)

The cabinets are looking great so far! And right about now you are probably swearing off painting *anything* else for as long as you live...
